Timothy Netscher
Non-Executive Chairman – Yilgarn Group

Tim is a highly experienced public company chairman and director with significant broad-based experience working in the international mining industry. He has held senior executive roles with Gindalbie Metals, Newmont Mining Corporation, Vale, Pt Inco, BHP and Impala Platinum, giving him extensive operational, sustainability management, major capital project development, business improvement and business development experience. His work experience spans North and South America, Africa, Australia and the Asia Pacific, in the commodities of coal, uranium, nickel, copper, cobalt, iron ore, platinum group metals and gold. He has also played a leading role as director in the sale of ASX listed Industrea Limited to the major US company, General Electric in 2012, as director in the sale of ASX listed Western Areas Limited to ASX listed IGO Limited in 2022 and as chairman in the sale of the Gwalia Mine by ASX listed St Barbara Limited to ASX listed Genesis Minerals Limited in 2023. He is currently a non-Executive Chairman of ASX listed Gold Road Resources Limited (ASX:GOR).

Tim is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of the Witwatersrand, a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of South Africa and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Cape Town. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD). 

Stephen Sell
Executive Director – Yilgarn Group / Goldzone Investments

Steve started with Goldzone Investments in 2021 and has been instrumental in assembling and managing the Company’s extensive tenement position.

He has worked as a finance broker for over 30 years, with experience in start-ups, IPO’s and early-stage company creation along with commercial lending experience in property and equipment. Steve believes in consultation and has built and managed successful sales teams. He has extensive professional experience in debt and equity financing and company management. He has implemented compliance and corporate governance programs in the organisations he has managed.

Laurence Roe
Executive Director – CEO and Company Secretary – Yilgarn Group / Goldzone Investments

Mr Roe has over 40 years’ experience in a number of publicly listed Australian resource companies encompassing substantial technical, management and executive board roles in the energy sector, both locally and internationally. He commenced his career as a geophysicist, moving into management and later board positions. Most recently he was a Non-Executive Chair of Winchester Energy Limited (ASX:WEL) and continues to manage US-based energy assets for a private company. He has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Roe holds a BSc degree (Geophysics / Computing) from the University of Adelaide.
