Timothy Netscher
Non-Executive Chairman – Yilgarn Group

Tim is a highly experienced public company chairman and director with significant broad-based experience working in the international mining industry.

He has served as chairman, Managing Director and CEO or non-executive director of some twenty different public (mostly ASX200) and private companies in the global resources industry. His work experience spans North and South America, Africa, Australia and the Asia Pacific, in the commodities of coal, uranium, nickel, copper, cobalt, iron ore, platinum group metals and gold.

In these roles, he led the development and operation of several large resource projects, including the $1 billion construction of the Gruyere Mine in Western Australia.

He also played a leading role as director in the 2014 $2 billion sale of ASX listed Aquila Resources Limited to Baosteel and in the 2022 $1 billion sale of ASX listed Western Areas Limited to ASX listed IGO Limited and as chairman in the 2023 $1 billion sale of the Gwalia Mine by ASX listed St Barbara Limited to ASX listed Genesis Minerals Limited and in the 2025 $3.7 billion sale of Gold Road Resources Limited to Gold Fields Limited.

Tim is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).

Stephen Sell
Executive Director – Yilgarn Group / Goldzone Investments

Steve started with Goldzone Investments in 2021 and has been instrumental in assembling and managing the Company’s extensive tenement position.

He has worked as a finance broker for over 30 years, with experience in start-ups, IPO’s and early-stage company creation along with commercial lending experience in property and equipment. Steve believes in consultation and has built and managed successful sales teams. He has extensive professional experience in debt and equity financing and company management. He has implemented compliance and corporate governance programs in the organisations he has managed.

Laurence Roe
Executive Director – CEO and Company Secretary – Yilgarn Group / Goldzone Investments

Mr Roe has over 40 years’ experience in a number of publicly listed Australian resource companies encompassing substantial technical, management and executive board roles in the energy sector, both locally and internationally. He commenced his career as a geophysicist, moving into management and later board positions. Most recently he was a Non-Executive Chair of Winchester Energy Limited (ASX:WEL) and continues to manage US-based energy assets for a private company. He has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Roe holds a BSc degree (Geophysics / Computing) from the University of Adelaide.
